The Mission Alpha project aims to write a success story of the 'Newspace' in Andalusia, an unprecedented event that unites the talent of private companies and Andalusian educational institutions in order to launch the first genuinely Andalusian satellite. The objective of the project is, on the one hand, to generate scientific data that will be freely made available to institutions, NGOs and universities for the fields of food optimization, deforestation, water management, fire prevention, migration, medical trials and any other related science.
On the other hand, Mission Alpha also seeks to make visible and promote the importance of a new economy and the employment opportunities it generates, while inspiring future generations.
